WHEN IN ROME! These sketches were executed during an independent study in Florence.  The sketches worked to connect the rural countryside of Tuscany to the larger city centres, speaking to the interdependence of urban environments with agricultural land on their outskirts.  Primarily created with ink, graphite and watercolour, each work also serves to draw attention to how the past informs our present and our present will inform the future.
