LAND: Since reading the book Vibrant Matter by Jane Bennet I have come to realize how all art is land art as it is from the earth materials come and to the earth all objects eventually return. From this mindset I have begun to unmake myself from traditional understandings and materials associated with fine art to arrive at more ephemeral art works that work at the intersection of drawing, performance, sculpture and installation. In doing so, I work to draw attention to the liveliness and affect of more-than-human beings and bodies of material. To read more about each project, click on the images below.
