Formed by the physical geography of the earth itself, Earth-ings are a series of mixed media sculptures created from pulling plaster casts off the land in forgotten industrial spaces and places where further development is slated. Although destructive in their own right, each work serves as a small monument to the liveliness of a site which will no longer exists due to ongoing urban and suburban sprawl that eats up important arable and forested land.
