UN/MAKING THE FRAME

Furthering my research into the act of UN/making, this exhibition draws on the history of Still Life painting to bring attention to the material histories and effects of objects.  Resisting the temptation to create more work, the entire 3D immersive drawing was made by extending the lines depicted within a single still-life painting, incorporating my collection of things, and reconfiguring existing works of art within my archive to breathe new life into their form, context and material. To learn more about the exhibition, visit the show Akimbo or attend the free artist talk on Tuesday, November 22, at 10 a.m.
