This interactive data manifestation let the audience try and carry textile waste generated by the average person from Canada’s top ten trading partners.  Piles of clothing were labeled with their corresponding weight to help participants add up to the higher amounts of textile waste graphed. Research your nearest textile recycling business or drop off centre to help lighten your load.

  • The average life expectancy of Canadians is 82 years of age

  • There are currently 35,160,000 Canadians

  • Canada is only one of only 195 countries in the world with a total population of 7.4 billion
